The Experience
An Unforgettable Evening at MOLAA
This year’s Heart to Heart Gala is something new. For the first time, the Volunteer Center brings its annual celebration to Long Beach celebrating our history and the expansion of our services – in one of Southern California’s most distinctive venues.
The Museum of Latin American Art is not a typical gala backdrop. Its galleries, its energy, and its cultural richness set the tone for an evening that feels different from the moment you arrive.
The evening includes special recognition of this year’s honorees, Dianne & Hans Bozler and Sean Devereaux, and a celebration of the Junior League of Long Beach as founding partners of the Volunteer Center
Here’s what’s on the agenda:
- 5:30 PM: Docent-led tours exclusively for gala guests
- 6:00 PM: Interactive experiences with cocktails, silent auction, and a game of chance
- 7:15 PM: Dinner and Program celebrating our impact and honoring our honorees

Strengthening Families Across Our Community
Proceeds from the Heart to Heart Gala support the Volunteer Center’s programs addressing food insecurity, youth wellness, and community service across the South Bay, Harbor, and Long Beach.
Programs such as Food for Kids provide thousands of weekend meals each year to students facing food insecurity, while youth leadership initiatives empower young people to become active community leaders.
Your participation helps expand access to critical services while strengthening the network of volunteers and partners supporting families throughout our region.
Sponsorship Opportunities
The Heart to Heart Gala is made possible through the leadership and generosity of corporate sponsors and community partners committed to strengthening families and supporting children across our community.
Organizations interested in supporting the Heart to Heart Gala can participate through sponsorship opportunities that provide meaningful recognition before, during, and after the event.
Sponsors help expand the Volunteer Center’s impact while demonstrating their commitment to community leadership and service.
